The search for the right name for a personal blog of mine proved to be somewhat unsuccessful. The thing is, I’m not in a huge hurry right now. My daily work and a US election centered blog - amerikawaehlt.de - keep my quite busy. This tumblr blog is for in between things. Sometimes I just want to “say” something and this will be the place for this something. It’s not Gentoo like in the years before, but an <a href="http://www.opensuse.org/" target="_blank">openSUSE 11</a> with KDE 4.1. <br/><br/>It’s a marvelous systems and not only from a technicians point of view. The look&feel did improve a lot and I don’t think that there is any need for KDE to hide behind the backs of the big players - OS X and Vista. <br/><br/>But. Yes, there is a but. I have to admit the fact, that the idea behind “plug&play” is not working out that well.
